Individual Reflections for Literature Mid-Year Project 2008Sec 2 ExpressEco friendly features of my 3-d model:1)Most of our materials are biodegradable.2) They can be recycle.3)we used materials like wooden board, ice-cream sticks, strings and toilet rolls.4)When the project is done, we could recycle all the materials. this would help sava those trees from being cut down.5)We uses old magezines to make paper balls to put in the balls room.Playground designs/concepts that are linked to the novel/Explanations on how designs/concepts are linked to the novel:1)There is a bridge at the entrance of the playground which led the children into a different world. It links to the novel as towards the ending of the novel, jess build a bridge which inspire us.2)The colour of the ground is green which give the children a feeling of playing in a forest.3)there is a platform or rather a slide to allow the children to climb on and feel like they are like on the kingdom of the terabithia.4)There is a doodle room for the children to draw the world they wanted to live in or magical creatures which links to the novel that jess likes to draw creatures that he imagine.5)The fencing in the playground allows the children to have the feeling of living in a country side.Playground designs/concepts that meet the special needs of the children1)we did not choose any sharp or dangerous materials for fear the children may hurt themselves as they may be careless in their actions.2)We uses bright colours to paint the ground of our playground as it give the children some hope and to tell them the world is bright, also to cheer them up.Labels: Melvin Kek (Individual Reflections)
